I offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapy both online or in-person at my private practice in Orpington, Kent.
Sessions typically last 75-90 minutes, with the total number varying based on individual needs.
Both formats adhere to the same cancellation policy and commitment expectations as outlined in my general therapy information.
I am a qualified EMDR practitioner, committed to providing this specialised therapy in a manner that best suits your needs and circumstances.

General Information

If you're seeking EMDR therapy, it's important to know that EMDR is not a quick fix and may not be suitable for every client or every issue. Whether EMDR is appropriate — and when it might be introduced — depends on your history, current resources, and therapeutic readiness.
Before beginning EMDR, I offer an initial Zoom meeting (around 20–30 minutes) to get a sense of each other and to understand what you’re looking for. If it feels appropriate for both of us, we then arrange a full assessment session to explore your background and needs in more depth. This process helps us decide together if EMDR is a safe and appropriate way forward.
If we choose to work together, EMDR will only begin after adequate preparation sessions. This may include stabilisation, nervous system regulation, resourcing, and building a safe therapeutic relationship. This phase is essential for EMDR to be both effective and emotionally manageable.
Sessions are usually booked weekly at the same time and day. Please note my cancellation policy: sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur the full fee.
Fees are reviewed annually.
I only work with adults over the age of 18.
