ABOUT ME
Sally Edwards
Psychotherapist and EMDR Therapist

I’m a fully qualified psychotherapist and EMDR therapist. I work online with clients across the UK and internationally. I also have a private practice based in Kent, near Orpington and Bromley, where I offer in-person therapy sessions.
Many of my clients come to me feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or unsure how to move forward. They may be experiencing burnout, low self-worth, relationship challenges, or moving through key life transitions — including menopause, ageing, career shifts, retirement, relationship endings, adjusting to an empty nest, or finding their footing again after loss, illness, or other difficult chapters. Often capable, thoughtful, and holding things together on the outside, they’re quietly carrying pressure, confusion, or emotional fatigue within. They’re not in crisis, but they know something needs to shift.
My work is focused on helping people explore and understand the emotional impact of life’s more difficult experiences — including stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, overwhelm, or exhaustion. Together, we work to ease inner tension, build resilience, and create a calmer, more grounded relationship with yourself and with life.
Using therapy, EMDR, and a body-aware, integrative approach, I support you in exploring what’s been holding you back, building nervous system strength, and making meaningful, lasting changes. This work isn’t just about resolving distress — it’s about helping you move forward with confidence, clarity, and self-leadership.
My role is to provide a safe, steady space where you can explore what matters most, let go of what no longer serves you and begin to feel more centred, resilient and aligned with the life you want to lead.
Please note that I only work with adults over the age of 18 and I do not offer couples or group therapy.
I hold Accredited Memberships with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), and am a Member of the EMDR UK Association.
