ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
I am a fully qualified psychotherapist specialising in trauma and EMDR therapy. I offer in-person sessions at my private practice in Orpington, Kent. Additionally, I provide online therapy to clients across the United Kingdom.

My main focus is on the impacts of trauma, including childhood neglect, sexual abuse, narcissistic abuse, domestic violence, serious accidents, illness, workplace trauma, and financial stress. But I also support clients with many other issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship issues, life transitions, disordered eating, and body image concerns.

In my work with clients I provide support using a trauma-informed approach, which means rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" I am instead more interested in asking, "What's happened to you?" Because usually the issues we struggle with have a direct link to what we have been through in life.
The aim of therapy is to help you to understand, process and overcome your experiences, and develop enhanced inner strength and resilience. By cultivating these qualities you can better manage future challenges. My role is to guide you in processing past events and shape the life you desire through purposeful, positive changes, which may include changes in behaviour, thought patterns, relationships, and other aspects of your well-being and happiness.

Please note that I only work with adults over the age of 18 and I do not offer couples or group therapy.

I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an Accredited Professional Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)
I am registered to provide counselling and psychotherapy services with a number of private health insurance companies. Please contact me for more details.
